Mikron MAIA

The Mikron MAIA is a low volume assembly and test system to produce single or multiple variants of medical devices such as auto-injectors, pen injectors or syringes. All key assembly processes are automated to ensure quality and data collection. The station parameters can be re-used for later production scale-up phase.

Full flexibility and reusability are ensured by an easy retooling for new devices, and variants or device management are solved through specific tooling.

The Mikron MAIA used advanced technology: no compressed air is required and is 100% servo-driven. The system is clean-room ISO 7 compatible.

Mikron Minicell

The Mikron MiniCell is a semi-automated assembly machine designed to meet the needs of low-scale production in the pharmaceutical and medtech industries. 

Built with standard building blocks from Mikron’s platform library, this medical device assembly system ensures proven technology, rapid deployment, and stable, low-risk production.

This solution meets a unique need — a scalable medical assembly machine capable of providing clinical build quantities up to intermediate volume builds at a significantly lower investment level for the medical industry.

Mikron G05: Modular Assembly and Test Cell

The Mikron G05 linear assembly cell is based on the use of standardized building blocks which offer flexibility and modularity. The proven and stable Mikron G05 platform ensures speed, precision and reliability of your automation solution.

The platform makes use of a cam drive for all primary motions, thus guaranteeing perfect synchronization between the working units and the pallet indexing system. Fixtured pallets enter the cell and are advanced and indexed in steps of 60, 120, 160, or 240 mm depending upon the model. Each assembly step is followed by a systematic check to ensure continuous and consistent quality.

Multiple cells can be linked together allowing full layout flexibility. Improved accessibility for both operational and maintenance personnel is guaranteed as a result of the system's linear concept.

The use of manual working stations, semi-automatic and fully automatic cells offer progressive investment from pilot line to fully automatic line.
