Value Added Tax (VAT) is a tax that is applied to nearly all goods and services that are bought and sold for use or consumption in the European Union. The rate of VAT and how it is applied varies by EU member countries. Delegates from Europe will need to provide a VAT number at the time of registration. This is a legal requirement. Please ensure that you have your company's VAT number available before proceeding with online registration.

In Person Delegates: The organizers are legally obliged to add VAT to registration fees based on the address where delegates or their companies are based. In accordance with applicable EU regulations, 23% VAT will be added and appear on your invoice or receipt. Delegates based in Portugal and/or have a valid Portuguese VAT number will NOT be charged VAT. In some cases it may be possible to reclaim VAT and delegates are advised to contact their accounting and financial specialists.

On Demand Delegates: The organizers are legally obliged to add VAT to registration fees based on the address delegates enter during registration. In accordance with applicable EU regulations, 20% VAT will be added and appear on your invoice or receipt for delegates based in France and with a valid French VAT number. In some cases it may be possible to reclaim VAT and delegates are advised to contact their accounting and financial specialists. No VAT will be charged for delegates based outside of France.

Payment can be made by:

• Credit Card: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. NOTE: If paying by credit card, please check with your card issuer that your 'DAILY PURCHASE LIMIT' will cover the total charge. If you are based outside of Europe, we also recommend that you contact your card issuer prior to purchase because our credit card processor is based in France and they may think the transaction is fraudulent.

• Bank Transfer: Please let us know when you have initiated the transfer. Your name and company details should be included in the bank transfer details.

Cancellations

Cancellation requests from paid delegates must be e-mailed to info@rddonline.com on or before March 24, 2025, to receive a refund less a €100 administrative fee.

Transfers

A registration may be transferred to a colleague at any time at no cost. Please send substitution details to rddeurope@agencecarrement.com.

Changes to Registration Type

You are able to change your registration type if necessary. The following conditions apply:

• If you register as an in-person delegate but switch to on-demand access, we will refund the difference in cost.
• If you registered for on-demand access but switch to in-person attendance, you will be charged the prevailing difference in cost at the time of your request.
• Changes in registration type may result in a change in the rate of VAT applied

• Admission to Podium Sessions and Explore with Experts panel discussions
• Access to the Poster and Exhibition Session
• Option to attend up to three Workshop presentations, Wednesday afternoon, May 7 2025
• Welcome Reception on Tuesday May 6, Gala Dinner on Thursday May 8 and all meals outlined in the Conference Program (breaks and lunches)
• Access to on-demand presentations through June 30, 2026. Sessions will not be live-streamed.

• On-demand access to speaker and poster articles from RDD Europe 2025 and previous conferences

  • Customized Proceedings: Download up to 10 speaker or poster articles at a time to create your own personal proceedings. You can do this as many times as you like.

On-Demand Access:

For individuals who are unable to attend RDD Europe 2025 in Estoril, on-demand access will be available from April 29 through June 30, 2025. The conference will not be live streamed. Access includes:

• On-demand access to poster and workshop presentations. Recordings of speaker presentations will be available soon after May 13, 2025
• On-demand access to speaker and poster articles from RDD Europe 2025 and previous conferences
• Access to exhibitor company profiles showcasing corporate products and services
• Delegate-to-delegate messaging via MyRDD
