RDD Europe 2025 will be held at the Estoril Congress Center, located approximately 30 kilometers west of Lisbon. It can be conveniently reached from Lisbon International Airport (LIS) and Lisbon’s central railway station, Cais Do Sodre, by train or car.
Estoril is a coastal resort town featuring beaches, restaurants, shops, in addition to a wide selection of hotels and other rental accommodation. Estoril's modern convention center, business friendly, relaxed atmosphere and proximity to several tourist attractions, such as Sintra and Cascais, made it a popular venue for RDD Europe 2019.
Transportation
- Taxi/Ride-Sharing: Taxis are readily available at the airport and fares run about €40-50 for the one-way trip to Estoril. Some cabs accept electronic payment, but it is a good idea to have cash on hand. Uber and Bolt operate in the Lisbon area.
- Public Transportation: The journey from the airport to Estoril requires a metro trip to the regional train station, Cais do Sodre, followed by a 30-minute rail trip. There is also an Airport Shuttle Bus to the Cais do Sodre. The total transit time takes around 90 minutes and costs less than €7 per person.
Accommodation Near Estoril Congress Center
Please make hotel reservations early because Estoril is a popular location and expected to be busy. We do not have a dedicated room block but there are plenty of accommodation options close to the Congress Centre. The Welcome Reception on Tuesday May 6th will be held at the Evolution Cascais Estoril Hotel.
