Visa Information

Conference delegates from countries outside India should apply for an entry visa as soon as possible since processing times can be long. The options and procedures vary by country and may involve an online or mail-in application, or an in-person visit to an Indian Embassy or consulate. We recommend carefully checking the requirements in your country of residence using only official sources of information. Be aware of visa scams and the dangers of using unfamiliar third-party visa procurement services.

Delegates should apply for a Business Visa and pay the prevailing fee. The following documents are generally required:

  • Completed application form
  • Original passport or digital copy (valid for at least 6 months)
  • A digital photograph or two passport size photographs taken within the last six months; NOT your current passport photo
  • Invitation letter. This can be requested during conference registration. The letter may be requested before the registration fee is paid. Receipt of an invitation letter does not imply a committment from the conference organizers to provide financial support. Invitation letters are issued by Aptar Pharma (India) on behalf of RDD Asia.
  • Additional supporting documents as specified in country-specific requirements.

Special Notes

  • Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) who possess either OCI (Overseas Indian Citizenship) or a PIO card do not require a visa. However, those PIOs and NRIs who don’t have OCI or PIO card must apply for a visa using the above procedure.
  • Additional restrictions may apply to delegates from Bangladesh, Pakistan and some Eastern European, African and Central Asian countries. Please obtain current information from the Indian embassy in your country of residence.
